VOGOZE includes the meaning of sculptural architecture which is difficult to apply to a neighborhood building. We further explored the possibilities by transforming colorful materials and sculptural dislocation into elegant and subtle displacement. Mongolian Black Granite stones are cut out or dug into subtle angles to offset the general image ofthe existing neighborhood by combining artistic work with efficiency that does not interfere with the flexibility and simplicity of the existing internal functions. Moreover,the fact that jewelry designer, Soowon Hong, is the owner ofthe building boosts the synergy and the intentions ofthe architecture and the user,who uses and works in this building are equalized.
보고재는 근생건축에서는 하기 힘든 조각적 건축의 의미를 결합하려고 시도하였다. 운생동의 근간작업의 화려한 재료와 조각적 변위를 우아하고 미묘한 변위로 변화시켜 그 가능성을 더욱 탐구한작업으로, 몽골리안 블랙의 화강석 사각돌을 미묘한 각도로 잘라내거나 파내어서 기존의 내부기능의 유연성과 심플함을 해치지 않은 효율성에 아트적 작업을 결합하여 기존 근생의 일반적인 이미지를 상쇄하는 특별함을 실현하려한다. 더욱이 홍수원 쥬얼리디자이너가 건축주라는 점은 건축의 의도와 생활하고작업하는 사용자의 의도가 동일시되는 시너지가 생겨난다.
