In order to alleviate the visual burden in a complicated place, Samsong 1957 filled the land in the form of artificial nature along the surrounding mountains. It resembles a mountain by embodying Samsong's 'ㅅ' with a triangular roof that is serpentine and different heights. Two polygonal masses, like chimneys, between irregular triangles, transmit light to the interior through a ceiling. It is not just a transmission, but it also illuminates the interior as light gradually permeates through a large sloping roof, giving it a sacred impression. So people who visit this place can experience a three-dimensional and rich sense of space along with a tall floor height.
‘삼송1957’은 복잡한 곳에서 시각적인 부담을 덜어주기 위해 주변의 산세를 따라 인공자연의 형상으로 대지를 채웠다. 구불구불하고 높이가 다른 삼각형 모양의 지붕으로 삼송의 ‘ㅅ’을 형상화하면서 산세를 닮았다. 불규칙적인 삼각형 사이에 굴뚝 같은 두 개의 다각형 매스들은 천창을 통해 내부에 빛을 전달한다. 단순히 전달하는 것이 아닌 크게 경사진 지붕으로 빛이 점점 스며들듯이 내부를 밝혀줘 성스러운 느낌을 주기도 한다. 그래서 이 곳에 방문하는 사람들은 높은 층고와 함께 입체적이고 풍부한 공간감을 경험할 수 있다.
