Throughout the history the wall
served as a separator of the space.
In Hannae Library, however, the wall(book self)
becomes the labyrinth that flows through the space, connecting and
disconnecting continuously.
The gable roof is the
continuation of the wall(book shelf) and forms threshold through varying
heights. Natural light falls inside through this point.
과거의 월이 구조적 한계에 의해서 고전적이며 공간적 소통을 막아서는 한계를 가지고 있었다. 우리가 제안하는 책꽃이 월은 유동하는 공간의 구성하여 서로 소통하여 통합되고 혹은 적절히 독립되는 이중적인 미로 구조를 재현한다.
지붕을 이루는 삼각 프래임은 책꽂이 벽의 연장이며 미로적 지붕형태의 다양한 겹침과 사이로 자연의 빛을 받아들이는 틈새의 장치라 볼 수 있다.
